After your product goes thru the pre-treatment process, it is ready for powder coating.

Zinc-Rich Primer

At Keystone Koating we coat customers products with an undercoat to maximize product life.  This undercoat is a zinc-rich epoxy coating and ensures a quality finish.

Top Coating

Parts are loaded on a conveyor system and slowly pass thru the automatic guns spraying a mist of fine powder all over the product.  Inside corners and other areas that are hard to coat are manually sprayed with powder for complete coverage.

Powder that does not stick to the product is recaptured by our powder re-collection system.  Keystone Koating's entire process of powder coating is environmentally friendly.

Oven Baking

After the product is thoroughly and evenly covered with powder, it enters our high powered ovens to cure.  Parts pass slowly through the oven and will take about 15 minutes to completely pass through at temperatures of 400° fahrenheit.  When it comes through the other end the parts are sporting a clean glossy powder coated finish.

Finished Product

When the products are cooled, they are manually taken off the conveyor belt and packaged or skidded and await customer pickup.
